In Indore, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, inaugurated a new 128-slice CT scan machine at MGM Medical College's Super Specialty Hospital. He also opened a newly built (G+2) block at the Government Dental College at a cost of approximately Rs 6 crore. The medical college's administration stated that the state-of-the-art equipment, donated by the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, will greatly enhance the hospital's diagnostic capabilities.

Yadav cut the ribbon of the CT scan room and received a briefing on the new machine and its features. The Chief Minister was informed that the new building, constructed by the Public Works Department, will address the space constraints raised by the Dental Council of India during inspections. The state government is also in the process of installing an OPG machine and 75 dental chair units at the dental college through the Madhya Pradesh Public Health Corporation. These additions will benefit undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as outpatients.

Yadav expressed that these new medical facilities demonstrate the government's dedication to improving healthcare services in the state. He emphasized that the advanced CT scan machine will aid in early disease detection and accurate diagnoses, while the new building at the dental college will provide world-class facilities for dental students.

During his visit to Indore, Yadav also toured the upcoming ISBT at MR-10, scheduled to be operational by December. He announced plans for Indore to host India's largest inter-state bus terminal (ISBT), designed as a state-of-the-art facility resembling an airport. This terminal will be a significant addition to the state's infrastructure and a new landmark for the city of Indore.With the upcoming Simhastha religious gathering in mind, the newly constructed 15-acre facility aims to enhance the travel experience for passengers. Costing Rs 101 crore and built by IDA, the terminal can cater to up to 80,000 passengers daily and provide round-the-clock services for 1,440 buses. It is equipped with 14 ticket counters, a 1,000-vehicle parking area, 43 bus platforms, a VIP lounge, a food court, and various amenities. The Chief Minister also inaugurated a library at Holkar Science College, reassured job security to Sanchi Dairy Plant employees, and pledged support to boost the state’s dairy sector. Additionally, he unveiled a statue of martyr Amrita Devi Bishnoi in the city forest, honoring her community's environmental protection efforts. During his visit to Indore, he sought blessings from Praman Sagar Maharaj and learned about the 'Health of Indore Campaign' that conducted blood tests for around 50,000 people.
